Mbaye Babacar Diouf is a young Senegalese painter whose graphic work uses symbolism to examine human relationships. After training at l’École Nationale des Arts in Dakar, Diouf worked as an art teacher while simultaneously working on personal projects. In his painted work, he aims to capture and express the richness and simplicity of symbols as well as their metaphysical dimension. As a metaphor for social signals, signs allow Diouf to think through human relationships and the presence of the individual in his social context.

Work on the body and the form
After training at the Ecole Nationale des Arts in Dakar, Mbaye Babacar Diouf builds his career in painting, both teaching and performing his artistic projects. In his creativity he seeks harmony and aesthetics. Qualities that he also finds in martial arts. He is a member of the karate national team. The artist finds his balance in the body work, which enriches his shaping work on the canvas.
Simple and rhythmic
The work of Mbaye Babacar Diouf is a collection of abstract characters that seem like a tribute to the character. In this sense, the painter seeks to grasp and express the value of her graphic simplicity, as well as her metaphysical dimension. A promising artist
Mbaye Babacar Diouf receives his first exhibition at the end of his studies in the "Off" program of the "Biennale de l 'art africain contemporain" in Dakar. Since then he has been invited to the main program of the festival "Dak'Art" and the "Institut du Monde Arabe" in Paris with his work on the Koran script. As a young but already well-established artist you should take a close look at his career, especially since he received the silver medal in the painting category at the last "Jeux de la Francophonie".
