Vincent Bardou is an experienced French artist whose works have featured in prizes and exhibitions across the country. Seeing painting as a way to recenter himself, he harnesses the spirituality of artistic creation to compose paintings inspired by urban culture and graffiti. He dances between figurative and abstract styles, weaving pop culture references and bright colours together to achieve a distinctive style.

A multi-faceted French artist, Vincent Bardou was born in Vitry-sur-Seine in 1989.
From design to painting
From an early age, Vincent Bardou was interested in drawing and early on, was already finding his inspiration from urban culture and especially from graffiti. After starting his career as a designer and draughtsman, he decided to dedicate himself fully to the life of an artist in 2014 leaving Vitry-sur-Seine and setting sail for the South.
An eclectic artist
Moving with ease from the abstract to the figurative, Vincent Bardou represents characters from popular culture where delicate kindred lines are interwoven. Curious and adventurous, he never stops perfecting his technique. Currently working his characters with acrylic and aerosols, he is constantly searching for new methods.
A spiritual relationship with art
For Vincent Bardou, painting is a conduit that enables him to refocus on himself. He sees it as a form of spirituality, an invitation to view the world from a different angle, not to be enveloped in a single thought. Thus, he touches on subjects that inspire him such as the protection of the natural world, wars and also our relationship with the media
